Waqf of time project to sponsor volunteer work is a true translation of the endowment's interest in the voluntary sector, and it adds a unique endowment contribution to the community development movement in support of the rest of the other endowment contributions (funds and endowment projects) in terms of:
- It is an endowment contribution that aims to work in an area that is almost neglected, which contributes to filling an important gap in volunteer work.
- It is a service contribution that responds to the needs of civil organizations on the institutional side in terms of management, operation and reaching the target groups (Training - Consulting ... etc.)
- It is an endowment contribution that took the collective leadership as a slogan for it and translated it through his organizational structure (the supervisory committee of the slanders themselves or their representatives), which increased the confidence of others in the endowment project.
- It is an endowment's contribution that brought together all volunteer workers of various orientations, thus nominating him to play the role of a coordinating umbrella for those working in civil organizations.
Therefore, on the date of 1/1/1998 AD, the blessed march of this project began carrying the challenge of the novelty of the experience and the pioneering of the idea, which added an incentive for the project management to register an endowment precedent at the level of the Kuwaiti voluntary sector by adding the Islamic footprint (represented by the endowment) as a reference to transform the endowment of effort and time over time into a Social Capital whose value increases and the voluntary sector takes its shades thereof.
